Here at the Israel Web Center we are committed to social responsibility and advocate stepping up and contributing to our society. We gladly work on behalf of the community through financial donations and added-value contributions to non-profit associations and social organizations. We encourage all types of social involvement and believe this is the way to make our society better for us all.
We at the Israel Web Center contribute to the community as part of our deep commitment to social and environmental responsibility. We do so by raising financial donations and grants, donating internet infrastructure and databases for non-profit social organizations and associations. The Israel Web Center encourages our employees and business partners to volunteer for the good of the community as part of our business and cultural commitment to the community in which we live and operate.
Ways of Action
As part of its volunteering for the good of the community, the Israel Web Center designates some of its field personnel to raise donations for these non-profit organizations and their operation. The Israel Web Center donates ILS 10 to various associations for every customer who joins our company. Financial donations for social-educational projects are carried out by non-profit organizations with proven ability in their field. We provide financial support and sponsorship for one-time programs and events that make a unique contribution to the community: supplying food, employment, culture, art, animals, sports etc. These contributions are made through our direct involvement in selecting the projects in which donated funds are invested and in defining performance goals. We build websites and online infrastructure for non-profit organizations and associations and provide assistance and advice in organizing unique fundraising events.
Criteria for selecting associations and projects for donations:
A connection with the Israel Web Center’s work and strategy for giving to the community.
Ongoing projects that make a substantial contribution to the community.
Potential for company employees to become involved and to volunteer.
Conformity with the policy and budget framework.
Submission of work plans, including a detailed budget.
Submission of valid formal association documents, such as proper management certificate, permit to receive donations according to Israel Income Tax Act article 46 etc.
